As I write this, I’m still buzzing from teaching an herbalism class on herbal body oiling. The group and I made oil extracts with herbs I had harvested from my home and my friend’s garden.
Teaching herbalism is a recently unearthed joy of mine. Nothing in the job-world makes me happier than sharing my appreciation for the plants while holding space for plant medicine makers in their discovering. As we skill up we’re better able to be advocates for our health and the health of those we love.
Below are upcoming dates for herb classes. I hope to see you there (if you haven’t signed up already):
January 29th @ 9:45 AM for learning about teas and basic formulation
February 18th 9:30AM HST, a virtual herbal body oil making class (sliding scale available for this one)
Late February morning (last weekend, date TBD) we’ll be hosting another salve making class
In addition, my Coming Back to Center with Herbal Body Oiling ebook is now available for purchase. It’s an outline of some of what I share in class, and something for those who can’t make it to class.
Currently calling in farmers, gardeners and those with connections to such. As I look at my current apothecary stock, it’s screaming at me to prepare. If you have connections to the plants, please email or DM me (← click link to see the list/go to IG).
Another exciting update: I’ll be dropping plant extracts and potions in the online shop very soon :)
Take good care,
Caitlin
